Privacy & saved quiz

What is saved locally

The map quiz saves the current mode, shuffled question order, current question, chosen state, wrong-attempt count, hint status and completed-question results in this browser on this device. No name, email address or account is required.

No remote map service

The state shapes are included in the app’s local files. The quiz does not request a map API or send your state choices or results to a game server. It includes no advertising, analytics, remote fonts or third-party game scripts.

Your browser requests the files needed to load the site. The hosting provider may record these requests in access logs. Following a source or license link opens that website under its own privacy policy.

Starting another round

A new full quiz or review round replaces the current saved round. Restarting or switching away from an unfinished quiz asks for confirmation. The app keeps only one round in browser storage.

Remove saved data

Use your browser’s site settings to clear storage for this website. This removes the saved round and any cached app files. If a saved round cannot be read, the app offers Clear saved quiz with confirmation. Your current round can stay in the open tab.

When storage is blocked

You can still practice or take a quiz while the tab stays open. Closing or reloading it may lose unsaved progress. Invalid saves are preserved until you explicitly clear them.
